In a significant stride towards the province's development, the Bulacan Provincial Development and Physical Framework Plan (PDPFP) First Public Hearing took center stage today during its inaugural public hearing. Architect Ving and Architect Casper, distinguished members of the United Architects of the Philippines - Barasoain Chapter, graced the event alongside their current officers from the local chapter.
Upon the instructions of Hon. Romeo V. Castro, Jr., Chairman of the Committee on Land Use, Urban Planning and Housing, and Hon. Alexis C. Castro, Vice Governor and Chairman of the Legislative Backstopping Committee, representatives of the United Architects of the Philippines Barasoain Chapter, led by President Ar. Anna Lissa Gonzalez, attended the Legislative Hearing on the Provincial Development and Physical Framework Plan (PDPFP) for the years 2024-2036 of the Province of Bulacan. The hearing took place at the Senator Benigno S. Aquino, Jr. Hall, Provincial Capitol, City of Malolos, Bulacan, on the 20th of February, 2024.
The session, marked by insightful discussions and collaborative efforts, underlined the capabilities and commitment of generations of architects, landscape architects, and heritage advocates of the community to contribute to the comprehensive advancement of Bulacan. As architects discussed their resolution and perspectives on the projected development, the aim for #NationBuilding initiative for the locality by the local professionals gained recognition, emphasizing and considering the crucial role of Bulakenyong Arkitekto in the development of the province.
The representative of UAP RD-A2a, Immediate Past District Director Ar. Cristopher Coronel, Past UAP RD-A2a Director Ar. Alberto Dumlao, Past Chapter President Ar. Casper Payongayong, Chapter VP Ar. Alberto Gonzalez III, and Board of Director Adviser and Past Chapter Vice President Ar. Ving De Leon attended the hearing together.
The presence and discussions of Architect Ving, accompanied by Architect Casper and the current UAP Barasoain Chapter President, Ar. Anna added a prestigious touch to the proceedings, symbolizing the united front presented by the UAP in supporting the Bulacan Provincial Physical Development Framework. The architects' engagement in this crucial phase underscores their dedication to fostering sustainable development and architectural excellence in the region.
